Review of financial statements A review engagement provides moderate level of assurance that the information subject to review is free of material misstatements and the opinion is expressed in the form of a negative assurance. A review process does involve specified procedures that include gaining an understanding of the client’s business and industry and inquiries relating to accounting principles and transactions. If matters are found that impair a true and fair view, either a qualification of the negative assurance is expressed or an adverse opinion is given depending on the materiality of those matters. ![]() Should you wish to contact us about our services in this area, please submit an enquiry |
